We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arabic Chef to join our culinary team at Arabian Knight Ubud. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of authentic Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine, with the ability to deliver traditional flavors using high-quality halal ingredients. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting Arabic dishes that reflect both heritage and innovation.

Responsibilities

– Prepare and cook a wide variety of Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes, including appetizers, mains, grilled items, and traditional rice dishes.
– Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest quality, taste, and presentation standards.
– Collaborate with the team to create new seasonal or special dishes.
– Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
– Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
– Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed.
– Uphold halal food handling practices at all times.

Qualifications

– Proven experience as an Arabic Chef or in a Middle Eastern kitchen.
– Deep understanding of Arabic spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
– Knowledge of halal food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
– Culinary diploma or relevant training is preferred.
– Can speak english is a plus.
