We are looking for a passionate and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at Arabian Knight Ubud. The ideal candidate has a strong background in baking and dessert creation, with the ability to innovate while maintaining consistency and quality. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods that complement our Middle Eastern and international menu.

Responsibilities

– Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked items.
– Develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
– Ensure consistency, taste, and visual presentation of all pastry items.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen.
– Manage inventory and order ingredients as needed.
– Supervise junior pastry staff (if applicable) and provide training when required.
– Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times.

Qualifications

– Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
– Solid knowledge of pastry techniques and food safety regulations.
– Creative flair with attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
– Culinary diploma or equivalent certification is a plus.
– Know middle eastern food is a plus.
– Good English Language is a plus.
